Hear Comes the Bus^TM monitors video and audio feeds on local bus, subway and train routes that you select. The app was developed for the safety of public transportation riders.

Hear Comes the Bus^TM was developed for passengers of public transportation services in New York, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles, Portland, Houston, Newark, Philadelphia, and other agencies in the major cities. Future releases, the services will expand the service to local subway train systems.

Upcoming releases will include added features, based on beta user feedback:

Hear/See^TM alerts that trigger a text to your device when unsafe activity is happening at the stop or the bus begins to get close to your bus stop.
Share/See^TM alerts that trigger a text to specific contacts on your device that have authorized and requested notification of the account holder's Hear/SeeTM alerts. This feature was requested by beta testers,
NO/GO^TM alerts that trigger a text to your device when emergency response or police and fire activity is at your selected stops or bus. Beta users reported that this is requested feature is vital for people using public transportation in areas where crime is prevalent or has increased in recent years.

How it Works

Download and install the Hear Comes the Bus^TM app.
Provide login credentials
Complete account verification.
After verification, you'll be able to select your region, transportation agency and routes that you want to monitor.

Through arrangements with each agency's proprietary audio-video monitoring services, we will be able to securely stream the data to your device.

You'll able to select a stop and a specific bus using real-time GPS tracking, view the activity and decide whether to board that bus at the stop selected and view activity on the bus scheduled for that stop.

There is no cost for version 1.0 of Hear Comes the Bus app. The estimated cost for the next release will be $1.99 a month per user account.
